Women in Conservation: Nurture Our Lands

July 16, 2024, ND

Register

Connect with other women in conservation during a social and educational gathering at the Edward M. Brigham III Alkali Lake Sanctuary (Spiritwood, ND) on Tuesday, July 16. This half day event will begin with Mindful Birding withå Amanda Booher, an opportunity to engage your senses and tune into the sights, sounds, and subtle movements of the environment.

Following Mindful Birding, we will gather for a light brunch, offering an opportunity connect and network with fellow participants. Participants will hear from Audubon Great Plain’s Executive Director, Kristal Stoner on Climate and Conservation – The Impact and Opportunity in the Great Plains, and from Jodie Provost, Communications Director for the Grouse Partners, on Prairie Grouse: Populations, Habitat, and Incentives.

After the presentations, we will engage in a group discussion, allowing everyone to share their perspectives, insights, and questions.

Through this Women in Conservation event, we aim to provide a space to connect and exchange ideas, while also highlighting the vital role of nurturing our land.
