Since 2010, Audubon Dakota has been a proud partner with 20 AVEDA salons across the Dakotas and Iowa to raise awareness for clean water conservation. AVEDA's participation in Earth Month each April, provides Audubon Dakota with important donations that greatly contribute to our conservation efforts, and connects AVEDA employees and their customers with our conservation programs.

2016 Aveda Earth Month Dakota Events

This year was the most successful Aveda Earth Month in the Dakotas!

Donations reached $40,000 between the Catwalk for Water events, the Dueling Piano event, and the daily fundraising at each Dakota salon. All proceeds go towards helping Audubon Dakota conserve and protect our natural areas to promote clean water for wildlife and people.

This year was full of fun events that engaged the community and promoted clean water awareness!

Earth Month kicked off with the Dueling Pianos event at the Grand Falls Casino, hosted by the Sioux Falls, SD Aveda Salons. With almost 300 people in attendance, the event raised nearly $15,000 with ticket sales, donations, and auction items!

Iowa and North Dakota salons hosted successful Catwalk for Water events as well. These fun, high energy events invite a wide array of people to learn about water conservation and view beautiful, entirely recycled fashion!
