About Us

Our Mission is to engage, support, and build outstanding women leaders in the Dakota’s conservation community.

Our Goals:

  • Encourage women within the conservation sector to support each other and grow network circles.
  • Inspire girls and young women to explore environmental careers and activism.
  • Host field workshops and courses concentrated on educating professionals and students alike on natural resources focused topics
  • Positively contribute to and advance environmental work in the Dakota conservation community through education, support, and research.

If you are interested in becoming a member of Dakota Women in Conservation or hosting an event that would make a positive impact for tomorrow's female conservationists, please email Sarah Hewitt at shewitt@audubon.org.
